‘Orange Orchard’ by Karin Hotchkin. Orange Orchard is a mixed media artwork on canvas with acrylic paint, pastels, impasto gel and material.
The Bickley Valley in the Perth Hills has many orchards and wineries that have been established and is now quite a hub of activity, especially in spring and summer. A lot of the orchards have an old, rustic feel about them hence the wooden gate. Work is presented in bold abstract, Naive style and has a textured appearance.
Painting dimensions are 65 x 87 cm. Painted on canvas satin finish and ready to hang.
