Painting is Lindys passion: it is very much a part of who she is.
Nature is where Lindy finds her inspiration and she interprets these natural surroundings onto canvas using acrylics and oils , or on paper and board using luscious pastels.
Lindy loves the colours of the Australian landscape and seascapes and finds this land provides endless material for creating paintings.
At times for Lindy it becomes a meditative practice and in that journey there are moments when stepping back from the easel, there is wonderment for her to see how that journey through paint has progressed.
Lindy has studied various fine art units at Tafe, as well as taking part in many informative workshops over the years.
Lindy regularly exhibits her work and is a member of the Pastel Society of WA and the WA Society of Arts.
Lindy has her artworks in private and overseas collections and has exhibited in the following group and solo exhibitions.
