‘Nine Moons’ by Tillian Clegg
‘I went to this place where they let water out according to the phases of the moon. There was a sand beach and a wall and places where stones once fitted, but were now lost. The landscape began to disappear in a kind of symmetry of displacements, and as the past splintered off I saw the place I would have to go.‘
